Course Description
Following the successful completion of the course, trainees will be able to:-

Trim overgrown hooves to the correct size and shape in a safe manner, avoiding unnecessary stress to the cow and themselves using:-
-  single action hoof cutters
-  hollow ground knives
-  Allgau hoof chisel
Keep tools sharp and in good condition
Describe the normal walking movements of a cows
Describe hoof growth variations
